Born in Panjaur, he did his graduation in civil engineering and is now settled in the U.S.A. S.Jung Singh was pivotal in making of Gurudwara Hari Sar Sahib Mananhana, Near Kot Fatuhi, in the Memory of 1008 Sant Baba Hari Singh Ji Naiki Wale. Every Year on March 11, 12 and 13, he organizes an International Wrestling tournament ‘Dohre Bharat kesri kushti Muqable’, which has become one of most prestigious tournaments in the country. He also played a major role in building the “1008 Sant Baba Hari Singh Ji Naiki Wale Charitable Hospital”. Singh is a very religious person and believes in simple living. Late Cont. S.Amar Singh Parmar Born to a very poor family, he shifted to Delhi where he scaled great heights in construction business. He was always been very helpful to the natives and poor. He has done a lot of charity works for the village, Football tournaments and GNNB college Panchhat. Panjaurians will always be thankful for this son of soil.
Settled in the US, he visits Panjaur every year and stays here for six months. He plays a prime role in collecting donations in the US for doing social work in the village. Singh organizes a football tournament on every Diwali. He is very popular for his simplicity and friendliness. Gurmail singh Patwari One who can boast of contacts in various departments, he has been instrumental in fulfilling various requirements of the village. He is the central force behind organizing the football tournament and diligently performs the role of stage secretary as well. Babu He works in Dubai and is always ready to help his fellow village men. He does what he speaks. |
